        Abstract: On November 30, after four consecutive hours of concrete pouring in the Helong section, the main bridge of Pingwu Fujiang Bridge in the LJ22 contract section of Jiumian Expressway had successfully realized the closure, marking the complete opening of the T beam transport channel on both sides of the Fujiang River, laying a solid foundation for the realization of the full closure of the bridge in the next step.

        Pingwu Fujiang Special Bridge is one of the key control projects of the Jiumian Expressway, with a total length of 1771 meters and a height of the pier of 92.5 meters.         Xu Bo, executive deputy manager of the LJ22 standard project of Jiumian Expressway, introduced to reporters: " The construction of Fujiang Bridge was the largest span of the continuous rigid corrugated steel belly bridge in China at that time. The main span was the original concrete structure replaced by the corrugated steel belly, which reduced the self-weight from the design.”
        It is reported that the corrugated steel plate continuous rigid structure is a new steel —— mixed combination structure, high tensile strength, high elastic modulus, compared with the traditional structure, the upper structure weight is lighter, effectively reducing the lower structure quantity, improving the overall seismic of the bridge structure, and it has completely solved the traditional concrete box girder plate cracking problems, with a host of features including light weight, easy assembly construction, low cost, good durability, full life economic benefits, beautiful modelling, low carbon energy saving.
        "If our bridge adopts the original concrete structure, then the demand for ground materials will increase, and the damage to the natural structure of the mountains will be further intensified, so the improvement of the materials has achieved the environmental protection effect."Xu Bo told reporters.
        It is understood that the Pingwu Fujiang Bridge spans the Fujiang River,which boasts high and steep mountains, and narrow river channels. In the construction process of the bridge pile foundation,we had frequently encountered bad geology, making stuck drilling situation occur from time to time.Since the construction in 2018, the flood danger has occurred during three consecutive years during the construction period. The mountain flood once flooded the mixing station floor of the project department, causing great difficulties to the material transportation and construction organization. However, workers were not afraid of difficulties, and rose up to challenges, fully carried forward the second navigation "tiejun" spirit, overcame difficulties through innovation,fought against flood, cold, epidemic prevention, managed factors of production reasonably, carried out construction production in a scientific manner. With all these efforts, we had overcome the difficulties, solved the problem, and finally realized that goal.
        JiuMian highway is an important part of the national highway network G8513, and also green highway demonstration project made by the Ministry of Transport. The route is about 244.69 kilometers, starting from jiuzhaigou ganchuan boundary qinglong bridge, and ending in Mianyang zhangjiaping JiuMian highway is a highway connecting the Yangtze river economic belt and the silk road economic belt. After completion and traffic, the time needed from Chengdu to jiuzhaigou will be shortened from the current 8 hours to 4 hours, greatly improving the level of traffic infrastructure along the line, driving the regional economic and tourism development along the line.
