At present, the traffic organization of Xishandong Road and its surrounding areas is like this. (Xishandong Road is one-way from east to west)
In July 2018, in order to cooperate with the closed construction of the western section of Jiannan Road, the one-way circular traffic measures from east to West were implemented on Xishandong Road. At present, the renovation project of the western section of Jiannan Road is nearing the end, and the two-way traffic of Sanli Bridge has been restored. Therefore, it is imperative to restore the two-way traffic of Xishandong Road. According to the renovation, it is expected that the two-way traffic will resume at 0:00 on Sunday, July 28.
Attention! Recently, the weather is changeable. In case of severe weather such as heavy rain, the adjustment time of traffic control measures may be delayed. This is what happened after Xishandong Road resumed its two-way traffic.
What are the specific changes? 1. Removing restrictions. The two-way traffic on Xishan Road was resumed, and the measures of forbidding left, straight and right traffic at the intersection of Xishandong Road on Changhong Main Road were cancelled simultaneously. The measures of forbidding left and right traffic in north-south direction of Yuejin Road Xishandong Road intersection were cancelled synchronously.
2. New ban on left-hand traffic. With the residents of several large commercial and residential districts around Yuejin Road 404 Hospital fully occupied, the traffic volume and traffic volume around the area increased dramatically, and the traffic pressure at the intersection of Yuejin Road Xishandong Road increased further. In order to alleviate traffic congestion and ensure the normal travel of the surrounding residents, we have decided to implement the left-wing ban on the east-west direction of Yuejin Road Xishandong Road intersection (404 Hospital intersection). That is to say, vehicles on Xishandong Road (two-way) are prohibited from turning left at 404 Hospital junction to enter the northern section of Yuejin Road or Yuejin Road.
How should the vehicles go after the ban on the left? Vehicles coming from the direction of Dongyuan Bridge can enter Yuehua Road through Binjiang Road or the western section of Jiannan Road through Binjiang Road to Yuejin Road.
For vehicles coming in the direction of the Sichang intersection, if they want to enter the northern section of Yuejin Road, can go straight through Changhong Main Road at the Sichang intersection, then turn right at Pingzheng No. 1 Lane and enter the northern section of Yuejin Road.
Left traffic is forbidden in Jinzhuyuan.
The completion of Jiannan Road underpass tunnel is imminent. Once opened, it will become a fast passage to Horticulture mountain in Youxian District and main urban area. Especially when the centralized office area of Horticulture Mountain is opened, the pressure of Jiannan Road will further increase. As the first signalized intersection of Jiannan Road underpass tunnel, Jinzhuyuan intersection will bear tremendous traffic pressure.
In order to ensure the smoothness of this fast track, and to reduce the interference of traffic flow on Changhong main road and ensure the smoothness of the main road, we have decided to implement the measures of forbidding left-east traffic at Jinzhuyuan intersection from zero o'clock on Sunday, July 28. That is to say, vehicles from the west section of Jiannan Road are prohibited from turning left into Changhong Main Road! How do the vehicles go after the traffic is forbidden to the left? If the vehicles coming from the direction of Dongfanghong Bridge want to turn left at Jinzhuyuan intersection to the Kewei flyover, please go straight to the turning point at the Jiannan wholesale market in, and then turn right to the Kewei flyover. For vehicles coming from Sanli Bridge, if you want to turn left at Jinzhuyuan intersection to Sichang intersection, please turn around 50 meters from Sanli Bridge intersection to Jinzhuyuan intersection, enter the west section of First Ring Road, and enter Changhong Main Road through Yingbin Road or Xishandong Road. The guardrail around Youth Square will be dismantled. As the number of visitors to Sanjiang Peninsula declines and the traffic pressure in this area decreases, we decided to remove the guardrail around Youth Square.
After the promulgation of traffic control measures, according to the actual needs, measures at individual intersections may be fine-tuned.
